Hi, I'm Laura and Welcome to Tiny Explorings
I started Tiny Explorings in 2017 from a small shop in Denmark — back when it was just me and a stubborn belief that toddler shoes shouldn't be this complicated.
As a mom, I kept running into the same problem: hard-soled shoes that my daughter hated wearing, or socks that lasted about 10 seconds on a wooden floor. So I made something in between — a sock shoe that actually stays on, protects little feet, and lets them move the way they're supposed to.
That little idea turned into something much bigger.
Today we've shipped to thousands of families across 30+ countries, and I still personally read every email that comes in.
If you ever have a question about your order, sizing, or just want to say hi — reply to any of our emails. It comes straight to me.
Why Sock Shoes (And Why Ours are Different)
Podiatrists recommend barefoot walking for toddlers — it's how their feet develop strength, balance, and healthy arches. But barefoot isn't always practical.
Sock shoes are the closest thing to barefoot. Flexible enough to let little toes grip and spread naturally, but tough enough for daycare floors, parks, and puddles. That's why more and more parents are making the switch.
But not all sock shoes are created equal. Most of what you'll find online looks similar — but the quality tells a different story. Our sock shoes are made with a thicker, non-slip sole that actually lasts, reinforced stitching that survives machine washing, and a snug ankle fit that stays on even when your toddler disagrees.
We've spent years refining every detail — the grip, the stretch, the durability — so you don't have to wonder if you picked the right ones. You did.
My Promise To You
I know ordering online — especially for your little one — takes trust. I want you to know that every order matters to me personally.
If something isn't right, email me directly. I'll make it right — whether that's a replacement, a refund, or just helping you find the perfect size. No bots, no runaround. Just me.
